Leg Injury

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a complementary therapy that aims to treat damaged, knotted, tense, or immobile muscles. It can help with a variety of muscle, tendon, and bone problems, as well as a variety of other health issues.

Remedial massage is used to locate and repair damaged areas of the body, as well as to speed up the body's natural healing processes. Depending on the problem, the pressure used in this healing treatment can be strong and deep or gentle and shallow.

Muscle problems can cause pain or radiate pain to other parts of the body. Remedial massage seeks to identify the source of the pain, addressing both the cause and the symptoms.

Easing and stabilizing the muscles can improve problems such as headaches, abdominal pain, low back pain and sciatic pain.

Some health problems that are often treated with remedial massage include sporting and dance injuries, muscle cramps, whiplashfibromyalgia, muscular atrophy, fibrositisspondylitisarthritis and frozen shoulder.
